about 75 miles from our home, terrible tradgidy, Hunters were gunned down on their own hunting land. My prayers go out to the families.
What a horrible crime to commit. This guy apparently trespassed on the other hunters land and then shot them, including a man and his son and a woman.
That story brought tears to my eyes just thinking about those people. I go hunting with my son. This story hit too close to home. Hope they give him the death sentence. Take him out in the woods and shoot him. Let the punishment fit the crime.
Does Wisconsin have the death penalty?
Remember, we are BLUE states up here(Wisconsin and Minnesota). The liberals want to "hang" anyone who even suggests reinstating the death penalty. By the time the lawyers get done, it will be the victim's fault or better yet the "assult" rifle's fault, but most likely BOTH.
Some guy goes off the edge and you're already blaming the "liberals." Don't you guys ever get tired of this? Maybe some of the victim were "liberals?"
If this guy is the perpetrator I can assure you he isn't walking free. From what I've seen they still don't even have the full story yet, and the suspect they have was lost and led out of the woods by two other hunters who had no idea what happended. The only thing they have so far is the suspect's gun was empty. Now there's an indictment if I ever saw one!
You harp about the "liberals," but want to string this guy up immediately. Paleassssssseee! What if it's someone else and the suspect was in the wrong place at the wrong time and fit the description of the suspect?

Here in Wisconsin we wear large flourescent backtags. The state was actually thinking of getting rid of backtags a few years back, but hunters complained it was tradition to have the backtag so they kept it. One of the victims took the shooter's number off of his tag and reported it to the authorities. That is how they caught him. Without the backtag he may still be running free. More states should go back to the good old fashioned backtag.
I've always found the fomer much more fun and less lethal. At least you admit your party prefers the latter. LOl
As far as the back tag I was not aware of that Jason. It's not being reported last time I looked. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Its the rifles fault, or worse; maybe he bought it at a gun show! Or the guys who were killed because they yelled at the killer for trespassing. If deer hunting was outlawed esp. from tree stands this kind of thing would of never happened. Imagine now how those poor deer feel. Peta should file suit on behalf of the shooter. Call Jesse Jackson and the ACLU, maybe they can help the guy, he is asian and probably brought to this breaking point by prejudice against him. Watch and see how I am right.
