Just found out my nephew is there now. I knew the 1st Armor Division was there and Charlie Company of the Marines, but I didn't hear anything about the 1st Cav there. Did I miss it? Maybe they needed him as a tank driver as that was his initial MOS is although he because a foot soldier as soon as he was deployed. He's also a top marksman so maybe that has some bearing.
