Hey I have a question and I know its not in the archives.
I have an old mount thats very faded, has anyone every used ladies hair coloring to restore the hair colors?
If so please explain. Thanks

I have John on a black bear of mine, it was on display at a Gander Mt. store near a water falls. It got faded to almost brown on one side (I assume from evap. of chlorine water or mist). I brought him home, cleaned and shop vac'd, used 5 bottles of black hair dye all over. Let set for 1/2hr. then rinsed and shampooed. I blew it dry, turned out great.
Normally I would have a pat answer, but this animal is a light colored one and pretty special.
I do have a call in to the Proctor and Gamble chemmmmmist.
