Get A Life!
I am 100% in agreement with you, politically. But I will tell you this....Cecil is too much of a CLASS guy to be treated in this manor. I know that he wouldn't be hurling the insults at you that you are hurling at him. I wish that the same could be said for you.
Cecil has strong, but misguided, political beliefs. We, the MAJORITY of American voters, disagreed with him "this time".
As for the other poor unfortunate dems that visit here....I don't know any of them. They are probably scumbags, like Michael Moore. Insult them all you want!

I see your state went to Kerry. Most folks up there misguided too?
Though I hardly support the vulgarity that's been cast at him, Cecil deserves every bit of the abuse he's taken. He's had a macabre, sadistic delight in insulting, cajoling, ridiculing, and tormenting people here. He's shown absolutely NO CLASS in his lies and even when they were pointed out, copied and pasted, and linked, he came back with his pompous assed "big deal". Cecil has taken delight in the last two years in pulling the wings off flies and watching them squirm in ant beds. He MIGHT be a nice guy in person, but the persona he created here and seemed to take delight in portraying here was of a snot nosed punk who wanted to pick a fight and then run and hide behind Momma. As someone who's really OLD knows, if you make your bed, you lie in it. I PERSONALLY pointed out to him that we had a GENTLEMAN'S AGREEMENT on this site about posting politics and religion. He ridiculed it. Cecil never got a dictionary, but "sympathy" falls someplace between "sh1t" and "syphillis" and I'm not interested in ANY of those three for his concerns. So, though I don't support the vulgarity on this site either, as for Cecil: sucks to be him.
he has to trade a barb for a compliment , no surprize here . Georege , your right on the money , as usual . LOL
......Huge welfare state....Do I need to say more? They come here like rats for the handouts......Our state taxes are the 8th highest, the welfare is something like 4th or 5th highest....And we're are not a HIGH cost of living state! When their five years of welfare runs out they go back where the came from, and send 3 or 4 back in their place. All you have to do is look at the demographics to figure that one out. I was actually surprised that it was as close here as it was.
I do get what I ask for by taunting you folks but it is sooooo much fun! Misguided? Of course that is a matter of opinion.
Majority? Now George what exactly is a majority to you?
Last I heard it's 2/3's which comes out to about 67 percent. The latest data shows George Bush got 51 percent of the popular vote. That's a far cry from 67 percent isn't it?
While you are right about the crap that Cecil posted here, it was not of his making. The lies were not his lies, he was mearly parroting the "party" line. And he will "lie in the bed that he has made" for a long time. And I will take pains to point that out to him, if the occasion should arise. There have been many times this last year that I would have liked to respond to him like you did, and point out the falicy of his arguements, but I didn't. I knew that he was WRONG and that the truth would win out. I am willing to let his enthusiasm for his beliefs be just that, enthusiasm. All the vulgarity is still uncalled for. And I still say that you would never see that kind of response from Cecil, had the election turned out the other way. He would have gloated, absolutely! But not in the classless way that he has been treated. As for the little barb about Minn. voting for Kerry, if he hadn't said that I would have been "very worried" about him.
BIG BUSINESS all you need is 51% and it gives you control, LOL.
I just hope the Republicans can show some discretion in Congress with their spending. We had a great example of what Republican led governors can do when they have the majority party on their side here in NY. King George Pataki turned into the biggest gun grabbing democrat (socialist) that there ever was. Money for everyone. Then, after promising to only run two terms, ran and won his third and exploded with all kinds of new taxes and fees in his budget proposal, including the renewable pistol permit that would have made owning a pistol only for the rich. Luckily the gun lobby in NY has a big mouth and many dedicated patriots who fought to have that one removed from the budget. Many politicians on both sides understood our plight and luckily common sense prevailed.
We republicans really need to watch what is happening in this Congress to make sure the Constitution is upheld and the Bill of Rights is honored in the remaining four years of this administration. Phone calls, letters, and e-mails all help in letting our elected officials make the right choices whether they are democrat or republican. it is OUR, (ALL AMERICANS) responsibility to follow through with our duties.
You will see spending like you have never seen before.
Old Fart I get to differ but at least you're not vulgar. I thank you for that.
But sometimes truth takes too long to prevail after the deed has been done. I believe that "truth" is a lot like "luck" in hunting. Lucky people shoot record book animals but it always seems that the more often a person is out in the elements, the "luckier" he gets. I don't want to ever take the chance of having to wait for "truth" to speak up for itself. I must admit, it may only be the "truth" as I see it, but if I feel it, I'm gonna say it.
we saw gun control legislation at its best. Maybe now that the republicans are in charge we can rescind some of this bad law and possibly even pass some good laws in regards to the 2nd Amendment. At least that is my hope!
