the email photo that was going around last August of a cougar about 2 feet behind a deer, and the deer hadn't even noticed yet? Apparently it was taken by a tree-mounted camera.

It looks so real, but I can see how they'd do it with two pics from the same camera, just different nights. I guess with home photoediting programs nowdays, even if somebody got a great pic, nobody would believe it was real anymore!

Not just that there was a mountain lion in Illinois,but that he also found one of the rare and elusive Illinois mule deer does to stalk.I thought we had some hunters on here.Go back and check the deer's tail.And then there is that vertical line up the center of the picture.It does however look like a trail camera photo and the lion was stalking something-probably off camera.My guess is that the camera is set up on a spring-deer come to drink and lions come to hunt.Not Illinois though.
