Entirely possible

Considering how much a care weighs and what kind of weapon it can be at driving speeds. Ever see what a semi does to deer? Other the other hand someone may be altering the crash scene. Hard to tell.

Policed many crashes

If the car was traviling on the interstate and hit a deer at say 65 mph , that is the results of impact . Bradlee

I've been to a lot of car / deer crashes

This response submitted by greg on 1/5/05 at 9:41 PM. ( )

If you think that is bad you should see what a horse / semi crash looks like on the e-way! The vehicle had to be going 70+ to get that deer so mashed up that much, it could happen and does. Been there seen it.

Not retouched

They are not retouched. That car was doing a lot more than 65 when it hit the deer....I am disappointed, wanted to see a pic of the driver....LOL

Ever seen a flock of snow geese hit a C-5 Cargo plane

This response submitted by George on 1/5/05 at 9:57 PM. ( )

Been there, done that. This one's pretty clean compared to that one. My dad had a book from the 7th Air Force in World War II that showed a Japanese pilot who bailed out right in front of a P-51. The pilot was part of an attack force on an American base and the P-51 "glided" back for a crash landing on his home strip with innards wrapped around the propeller hub while his head was stuck in the supercharger intake. See why this one looks rather sterile?

Motorcycle/deer on board camera

This response submitted by TeddyS on 1/5/05 at 11:07 PM. ( )

Checkout a video of a motorcycle with a "on board" camera hitting a deer(doe). Not near as bad as this but still wild looking.
Take care all,Teddy

The blood pattern looks wrong and the blood does not look like blood...Way too uniform in color.

2ndly.. where was the driver? The drivers seat appears to have been covered in blood? Why is there blood on the back of the head rests in the rear of the vehichle? At the rate of speed needed to get blood to the back of the vehichle.. how did it reverse direction and end up on the instrument panel?

I see part A of deer, and part B of a deer?
What part of it is inside the vehichle?

I don't doubt this vehichle hit a deer, but I think it has been played with...

Liver in the back seat

This response submitted by cur on 1/6/05 at 12:36 AM. ( )

The deer's last words were, "If I had enough guts, I'd do it again".

I blew those shots up to retouching there....if it was faked, someone screwed up a nice machine for a couple of photos.

I saw a lady back into an airplane propeller once - disaster.

Come on....

This response submitted by bw on 1/6/05 at 9:35 AM. ( )

it looks to me like the deer was cut in half by the roof of the vehicle. maybe part of the deer was inside at one point and they just drug it out.

that is the nastiest i have ever seen personally.

but i did see one a few years back where a driver hit a small buck. i stopped to help them and they were fine. so i went to examine the deer and found it to actually have one of its hind legs skewered through its own neck about 1/4 of the way up from the shoulder. what was weird

Hit too high...

This response submitted by marty on 1/7/05 at 10:48 AM. ( )

...for the airbags to deploy...

Looks fake

This response submitted by Matt on 1/15/05 at 10:02 PM. ( )

A couple of good points brought up.... The drivers seat is covered in blood. If the driver was sitting in the seat the blood would be on him and not the seat. There doesnt appear to be any smear marks of blood where the driver would have smeared when he got out of the vehicle. Also if the deer was hit going fast shouldn't the airbags have deployed?
