Seems that George Roof, my favorite grouchy old guy besides me, is going to be 59 today, February 28th. I know many of you folks in here like him like I do. I know many of you read all his posts and are thankful for them. I know some of you have read his book about huntingin the old days. Lets let George know how much we love him, its his day today. Thanks for all you do, on this forum, and in the taxidermy industry. I for one, think you are ok, just the way you are, keep on telling it, like it is. I know, somewhere out there, is a young boy, in this taxidermy world, saying, I am going to be somebody, I want to be like George.

Happy birthday George! We may argue and fight and all of the other things that go along with that type of behavior but I am glad your out there plugging away to help make things better for taxidermist by helping as you are needed. It is great to have experience, knowledge and be willing to help others without an agenda.
Perhaps you and I see more eye to eye than what we both believe.

I got to admit when i first started visiting the forum i thought George was a great big ASS but i came to my senses and realized he probably has forgoten more than most of us will ever know so for those of you that think bad of George needs to wise up and take all his free info he gives and put it to good use he may sound a little rude at times but thats just George i have never met him but it would be a great honor to meet someone that means so much to the taxidermy world maybe one day if i make it to the world show ill get to met him.So HAPPY BIRTHDAY George and i hope you have a great time today.
