Wonder if the people buying all those hummers, or drive gas hog SUV's will be the first to complain?
I need a good size pick-up to haul fish a few times a year. I figure I'll wait until the gas prices get high enough and I can get a really good deal on a used one.
Sure glad I dont'drive to work!

Gas prices here jumped .09 today. Stations here are pretty consistent about raising the prices for weekends. Anyone using UPS shipping can expect a gas surcharge AGAIN if the .25 becomes a reality. I don't drive to work either, but then, I don't work...eh?!(LOL)
LOL
twenty five cents; whop-de-doo!
Try over a dollar in the last 5 months; locally about .40 in the last week!
Sucks!
I finally break down and buy a diesel truck to tow my big trailer with, thinking fuels cheaper and will get better mpg to help pay for it!
Wsn't a month before it passed regular gas price!
Still wouldn't trade the dodge though!
So who is increasing their taxidermy prices?
I'm in the same fix as you. When I bought my Ram, diesel was .40 less than gas and I got DOUBLE the mileage that I did with the V-10 Ram I traded. Now diesel is .20/gal. MORE than gas. This Dodge will drag ANY gas truck up a steep hill on a bad day all day any day....eh? I made the right trade.
Well I just filled my big diesel dodge up at 2.75 a gallon here washington state and blew up my golfing allowance.
Why and how did the price of diesel jump ahead of gasoline? Is it taxes or what? Seem very counterproductive for our economy as lots of our goods are shipped by diesel.
if we all sent e-mails to the white house complaining of high gas prices.
our soldiers are dying for what?
to keep iraq free, the oil companies have their hands in the iraqi oil fields, haliburton is making millions as are other supply companies.
the high price of gas just helps support terrorism.
all that oil used to produce gasoline doesnt come from America, it comes from several middle eastern nations most of which support terrorism including Saudia Arabia.
by the way the royal saudi family gave about 2 million dollars to help the tsunami victims, they only take care of themselves.
The U.S. gave a heck of a lot more in terms of dollars and manpower.
so why do our gas prices have to keep going up?
why aren't we paying 1.50 per gallon or less?
why is our government puting up with this %$*&^crap?
and why don't they do something besides line their pocket with our money, they also need to start taking better care of our vets and seniors too.
thanks i just needed to vent a little today.
feels good...
Now why would this administration care about higher oil prices? They're all tied into the oil industry and the more money the oil industry makes the more they make!
Besides if oil gets high enough congress and the senate will let them drill in ANWAR and other places. Never mind most of our Alaskan oil is exported to Japan. We need that oil! LMAO
Cecil,
i heard that the oil from the alaskan pipeline gets exported too. i would also be willing to bet that any oil coming from anwar would be exported too.
why would they take care of us, american citizens. heck they still have the DREAM act going that allows "undocumented" students to go to college at lesser rates than american children.
but getting back to the oil, our fellow countrymen are dying to help the oil folks line their pockets, this really sucks, i know it goes deeper than that and that there are other real good reasons to be there but heck, why cant we also benefit from the oil in the iraqi fields.
we are spending way to much money over there.
money that could have been used to help the social security system here, but then again our government wants to privatize that system to "help" us. thats another post in itself.
you can beat a dead horse all you want, it still wont get up and go.
