My pictures turned out awful. My flash was flashing, I thought anyway, but the pictures are dark. Your picture #6 of 80 is my entry front and center with the red ribbon.
Just wanted to say thank you. Was fun to get an early taste of what we missed!
What is photo 21? I am not a taxidermist and can only wonder what it is. Is this an Irish elk? Replica antlers? Life size cape is what? Anyway it looks great, but this really caught my eye. Maybe someone can explain it to me, curious. Thanks for a great bunch of pictures. Skullery....Jeff
Pic # 48, the dall sheep and porcupine. The porky came from me, in Alaska. I have another for sale at present.
It is an Irish Elk recreation done by Ken Walker. The hide was white elk hides then dyed to color the antlers were repilicas. Nice job.
I thought the base with the rocks shaped like a hand holding sheep feet was cool.
The pic's looked fine. It was nice to see a pic of work that was at our state convention. The "Fox Mountain" was at the Virginia Convention, but it looks as if he replaced the red fox he had at VA. with another I am not sure of. At our convention he had the Grey, Red, Silver and Arctic. This time it's the Grey, Arctic and Silver. Can yall tell me what the other is? The gentlemen ( I can't remember his name to save my life!) did a nice job with the mounts as well. Again, nice pic's & thanks for posting them!

On the top is an Artic fox, then blue fox on left, grey fox laying down in middle, Silver fox on right and red fox on the bottom. It was my piece, it suffered alot of damage on the ride. But I enjoyed doing it.

and enjoyed meeting you in Harrisonburg as well. Sorry to hear it got damaged, but hey, at least you got to show it and (looks like you still got a couple ribbons - Congrats!) Unfortunately, my pic's of it at the VTA show were on my roll of film which did not come out. Again, nice job. Hopefully I'll have something at next years VTA convention.
Have a great day!
