This was my first show and I sure wasn't disapointed! The thing I came away most affected by was the people. Everyone I met or talked to was great. Just the nicest group of folks there could be.I didn't get over to George to meet him, but could have. I sat in a couple of sessions of the super seminar and you did a great job George. And everyone that did the seminars were fantastic. Answered all questions afterwards until everyone was satisfied. Try geting that out of a profesional athlete.
The Quality in the mounts was also inspiring to me. Enough to prod myself into trying to get my feet wet in some competitions between now and to enter something in 2007, which will be within driving distance for me.
The one thing I took notice of, being from the west was that 90% of the deer entries were whitetails. Very few mulies and no blacktail Which I see much more of here in western Washington state. Maybe there will be more when it's held in Reno. I think I'll bring one myself. And the non whitetail deer heads went into the gamehead category.
So a great big Thank You to all that worked so hard to make the show such a positive experience. Your efforts are appreciated. See you all next time! Carl
