I just got done reading the Breakthrough manual for Mammal taxidermy and it's packed full of valuable info that your looking for. It's worth it's weight in gold if you're just learning.

It's already available

What you're asking calls for a tremendous amount of time and space. Books(see Breakthrough example) have been written on the subject, so asking someone to write it here in a reply is just asking too much. Click the orange "search" button to the left of this screen, type in any of the 4 related words you used in your post, and read away.

I don't condone anyone impersonating someone else, butI don't have much sypmathy for anyone on these forums who doesn't post their real name either.

Real names

Names on here are really pointless, if you cant put them with a face.

nothing you can do about it

the way this forum is set up , it's just too open and not enough responsibility and acountability . Alot of taxidermist like it that way but the best ones that at one time or another were on here are now gone except for a few stubborn ones and they have to constantly defend themselves . This site could really be an as$et instead of a pain in the as$et . IMO

Ken Edwards' Response

Posts are removed almost every day for rules violations. One of the rules violations is impersonating someone else when making a post. Posts submitted by authors pretending to be written by someone else are not allowed. When the "real" author sends me an e-mail and lets me know that someone else is posting fictitiously with their name, the message is removed immediately. In the Orion incident above, I was never informed of anyone posting with a fictitious name, so none of the posts were removed. When I am made aware of the impersonation, I will take action.

i sent you an email.

mr. edwards the post that one box made is one thing but i would rather his little boy self be removed from this whole site. why do we need negative people like him around here?

Just another reason . . .

to go to a forum where login is a requirement.

Don't get me wrong . . . I like Ken and what he does is appreciated more than he will ever know. However, this type of problem has been going on for years - and I've been here most of the time the forum has been up.

Login will keep posters posting under other people's handles. It's a minor inconvenience but it works. I have a website that I own and manage and I use the .php bulletin board. I don't have these problems.

This is a great site . . . but some updates would help the problems and lessen Ken's workload.

Just my $ .02, adjusted, of course, for inflation!

Jerry S.
