I looked all through McKenzie`s for it today...man that stuff was good at glossing eyes...it has a quality to it I can`t quite explain. The smudge left on the eye from cleaning it with laquer thinner will actually disolve when the liquid crystal is put on..I haven`t found anything else that will do it like crystal...I ordered the satin gloss in hopes that it was just actually renamed to that...probably not but that was my thinking on the deal..I`ll sure let ya know if it seems like the same stuff
Their number is 1-800-488-3256. I know that they did carry it, so perhaps they can help. I believe that they now carry similiar products called Deep flex spray and Crystal Glaze (liquid). If these won't work they may still be able to advise you on where to obtain the original Liquid Crystal.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Mark Wilson
Van Dyke's sell it. If you have their new catalog you can see it on page 305. I have about 3/4 of a gallon of it left. It is BL-01002719 for a gallon @ $43.95 or an aerosol can which I think is 12 ounces @ $7.99 and it's item number is BL-01002706. 1-800-843-3320
I love it! Dan Hudzik
I looked at WASCO's website and it seems they have it for the same price in the gallon. Ithink WASCO sells it in the aerosol can, by the pint, and by the gallon. I beleive they are the only ones that offer it in a pint. McKenzie only seems to sell it in the aerosol can. Good Luck Mr. T Dan Hudzik
I'll check them out.
I think about every supply company sells it.Another one is Quality www.qualitytaxidermysupply.com and Jim Allred has it to,I think.
They make the product, and they are in St. Louis, Mo.
