watched it last weekend. loved it. bought the dvd. its about deer camp in upper mich. actor jeff daniels. other good ones ive got are mountain men, last of the dogmen, silence of the north, and the mini series centennial. looking for more similar titles, opinions, stories. just thought a feel good distractive post would be good to start the weekend. kurtwood smith from last of dogmen, is a friend, he is my son in laws second cousin. saw a taping of that 70s show this winter.

The dumbest thing I have ever seen in my entire life.Only made it halfway through.Kept waiting for it to get better and it didn't.I have to deal with stupid people everyday,don't need to watch them in my time off.
I am a Michigander - though not a Yooper - I too thought it was the dumbest movie I ever saw and actually was falling asleep in the theatre watching it (yes I actually paid to view it - lol) while my husband (the true Michigan native - I am a transplant here) laughed his --- off at it. You would have thought he was watching a different movie than I was (lol). So I came to the conclusion it must be a man's movie - give me a movie that needs tissues (sorry guys).

....you betcha, fer sure, eh. (and I'm way sout of da bridge) Yup it was a dumb movie, but funny. It helps to watch it with a bunch of friends...Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan, and Jim Beam.

I loved that movie. It is one of my favorites. My wife loved it too. She walked around the house for days saying my chevy shook a crap.
I didn't mean to write crap but that is what came up. I tried to use an ! instead of an i in sh *** t, but it didn't like that so it replaced it with crap. But you get the idea.
