Copying Mannikins and the Law

Did the supply company that was found guilty of copyright infringement ever actually pay the fines? $400,00 + $74,000 and whatever for the atty's fees? If he did, how is he still in business?

DC supply paid the price. Why don't you "good people" ask this person to give each of you a cup of his blood? Would that make you feel better?
This guy still has money. So? So many of you are envious of other people that have more than you. GET OVER IT!

Hey Dot boy

You're the same sleaze that posted about the above, aren't you. For so many opinions and no spine, you're an amazing specimen of a coward.

I don't want a cup of his blood, I'd like for him to stop stealing other peoples hard work and claiming it as his own. An apology would be a nice start, but then, I have a better chance of seeing you use your real name, don't I?

You seem to be in good form tonight! What got you going?

Gutless people always annoy me. It seems as if you have guts enough to voice an opinion, you should have the guts enough to sign your name to it.

But then again, getting an African safari and 4 turkeys in a one-man shop on a Saturday ain't exactly something to put sunshine on your carrot about either. LMAO

Hey George

I'll be glad to help you spend that taxidermy deposit you got!

Then what do I pay the mortgage with?

Did I mention how I hate damned turkeys? LOL

Dear get over it

It's not about who has more money. It's about what's right and wrong. It was wrong when it was done and he knew it. Furthermore if he didn't know it then , he knows it now, yet that has not prompted him to remove my sculptures from his catalog. Here's where the money comes in. It will cost ME to get them out. I have no respect for theives of any color.

IF everything is so cut and dry, why not sue him? Pretty obvious, or is there more to the story?

Dear whomever you are

First of all, nothing is ever cut and dry but if you would be willing to take the time to look, you might see that some appear to look like Frank's and some look like mine.
As I stated in my first post, It takes money, in this case to rectify a wrong. Secondly, even worse is that it takes my valuable energy to engage in a fight such as this. I'm not sure that I'm willing to embroil myself in a process that revolves around so much negative energy. What years I have left of my life, I would choose to spend it in a positive way, creating art from nature and surrounding myself with people who are honest, healthy and full of spark.
Good luck with the rest of your life, Mr. No-name
