Was wondering if anyone knew what a large lifesize timberwolf skin would go for tanned and ready for mounting.Thanks

Depending on quality, tanning, the need,....etc., from $150 to $375. !

Jeff, if you want something decent, expect to pay a lot more than $375. A competition quality skin will cost you $500 or more.

$150-375 will get you a small wolf usually a wall hanger and not a large good condition mountable wolf

Thanks for the info,A gentleman I do work for (he buys and sells skins)brought in a box,it had 5 large wolves in it and said he has 18 more he was thinking he could get around $800. ea. for them,I thought this was A little high,anyways thanks again.Jeff S.

The prices on skins are way toooooooo High. I guess if you want to spend that much money, you will spend more than you have to. I bought five 71 inch wolves which were skinned, fleshed and ears and nose turned, lips split and salted for $390.00 each! These were exceptional skins and obviously suitable for life size mounting. Now I thought that was a good price. The wolves were large!

You can look around but it is your money to spend or waste.....
