I am wondering how some of these guys are getting their deer noses to look so good at some of these competitions, I've always been taught to use modge podge and put on a bunch of small bumps, this is good for your average commercial work, but some of the mounts that i have seen have the crevices in the nose and very detailed like a live deer, does anybody want to give up any details on how this is done? thanks for any input, Joe

There are reprose out there with all the detail cast in them, some guys make casts while others cut out the pad on a mounted deer and carve one using apoxie, then replace the hairs. It's all on how much time you want to spend.
