My market is almost all skin mounts. Even if I suggest replicas they want "their REAL fish." I even get requests from people who released a big fish, regretted it, and NOW want to know if I can replace it...with a skin mount. Replicas may have a place, but I don't see them becoming any substantial percentage of my work. Fine with me too...eh?

Sure

you can replace it...with a skin mount, just tell them to go catch it again.

yup skin mounts will always be cheaper anyway
so there will always be those who seek a taxidermist
rather then having a expensive repro
