I do not know how many of you use ammonium sulfate, I am a full time Taxidermist and a part time farmer. (part time farmer because I was getting $3.00 for a bushel of wheat in 1967, this year I sold my wheat for $3.01 a bushel. It went up 1 cent in 38 years, diesel was 18 cents per gallon and now is is over $3.00) I use ammonium sulfate mixed with my herbicide to make water softer. It is 99.9% pure and you can buy it at any chemical company such as Co OP for under $10.00 for a 51 pound bag. I use it in my Taxidermy business and have had great results with it. Just though you might be interested in it to save a little money.

Mike, deliming and bating in one step. I use about one half pound per 10 gallons of water. It works.
