It's no wonder they call it "The Big Book"

nice to have a company that can fit everything you could ever need inside one well put together catalog, Van Dykes.

thought it was the phonebook it is so darn big. Took me a second to realize that it is the new McKenzie catalog. It just seems like yesterday when the McKenzie catalog was not bigger then Van Dykes or Joe Coombs. Now,anymore buy outs and it has to come in two parts cause it wouldn't fit in my mailbox then.

I got mine...

The first thing I noticed was how the price of competition Wood Duck eyes has gone up....doh! Prices are going up, up, up! everywhere you look, and it is depressing sometimes. Not McKenzie's fault of course; that's just the way of our world:o(

Its going to get worse

The industry is very unstable as far as a chemical stand point. Thier is no way to control it either, contracts that use to be good no longer last. It was possible to absorb the increases until the next year but now the changes are so much that you can not be sure of anything. They are just like the fuel, its all controled like fuel but worse, the fuel demand drives everything else up higher then fuel since some of it can be used as petrolium.
Not much will be stable for a while.

Thursday. Was glad to see the Rinehart catalog with it. In the last two weeks, I've received McKensie, Jonas, Research, and Van Dykes. I've been getting little "ads" from Matuska, and they're running a sale on whitetail forms until the end of October. Personally, I really like the Matuska forms.
