My son just called me. He just got home a couple hours ago from a
whitetail deer hunt downstate. Anyway he got 3 deer. 2 are albino's one is a
buck and the other a doe. I assume they are albino's and not piebalds.
He said they both have a pink nose. I will go to his house tomorrow
and take some pictures. He wants me to mount the buck and asked if I
knew if the doe cape might be worth anything. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks

Would you shoot me an email about the doe cape? Thanks.
I sent you an e-mail subject line says "doe cape" just so you know.
I didn't include a picture. Some people don't want attatchments from
anybody. By the looks of the pictures I need a new digital camera or
someone who knows how to take a picture.

Albino is a complete lack of pigment anywhere. Pink, greyish, bluish or colorless eyes, all membranes and hooves, and white hair is a good bet. The hair might be stained, but if theres any black or brown hair, its not albino. Regardless, its still a trophy.
Thanks Bill. I guess what they are is piebalds then. It's good to know
and yes they are trophies. My son is very proud of them.
Thanks

I'm interested in the doe cape, could you send me information. Thanks Rick at www.whitetailsunlimitedtaxidermy.com
I'm not sure if my son wants to sell one none or both. If he decides to, I'll post
them in the for sale section. As of right now I think he wants me to mount both of
them. Thanks for asking.
