The archives tell me that some peaople on here have had shelf life of up to a couple of years for the two part urethane foam. I recently used some foam about a year old for a rock project. The foam expanded in a bubbly mass which did get hard but it does not have the density of a typical foam pour. My question is have I over extended my shelf life? The contents of the quart kit were perfectly normal when first used and have been sealed tight since. Thanks Ed

try it again and use approximately 50-50 on the mixture....
I used almost a whole quart on a habitat. Did not get hard, It stayed spongy. Turns out I didn't mix it up enough.
After that I took a piece of 12gauge wire put a couple loops in one end, put it on the drill and mixed the crap out of it. No more problems.
Has your ever frozen? That is so that could be the problem.
Most of the expandable urethanes are to be mixed 50/50 by weight, not volume.
Is Right, you need a scale not mixing cups and you need a paint blender with a drill and mix good and work fast
