the "Taxidermist" link at the top of this page then go to the listing for your state. Most of those listed will have prices, thats a good place to start.

Anything else with that sir?

Get off your @ss and find the information you need for yourself, and stop asking for it to be handed to you on a platter.
Did you check all of the taxidermist's websites listed above to see what they are charging? Once you have done that, you will want to see what you will be able to get where you live by researching locally.
The best information that you can get, is that which you diligently research for yourself, and you will learn other things in the process as well. This isn't directed as a wise comment, it's directed as "the way it is".

Hope this basic pricelist helps.

HOW AND WHY

This response submitted by 0 on 3/16/06 at 3:40 PM. ( ) 207.118.255.101

It depend on YOUR COSTS
Why taxidermists price there work by everyone else's
Does everyone have the same overhead costs,
does everyone want the same pay , cost of living varies greatly to area
I have met so many taxidermist that state I price my work just under the other guy
WHY ? to get some , BUT how the Heell do you know if the guy your pricing against is even making a living?
Look at YOUR COSTS and the profit margin YOU want to make and set your prices
Basic business 101
If your talking to a BANKER you better show him PROFIT MARGINS

...to tell people to take some business classes and I have been torn to shreds for that advice! So the advice is,.. who cares? Take the easy way out!

The more people that fail in business matters, the better our business will become.

'Well Kim, IMHO, you're too damned cheap

This response submitted by George on 3/17/06 at 5:21 PM. ( georoof@aol.com ) 205.188.116.134

The day I ever do a moose for less than $1500 or a lifesized girz for less than $5000 will be the day I quit. Many of your other prices are much too low.

Why thank you George for not ripping me a new butthole!

This response submitted by Kim on 3/17/06 at 7:16 PM. ( ) 69.171.240.121

The pricelist posted is ONLY an example. Our current prices are higher on different animals.

I do understand about the average customers that simply don't have the money to spend on a $500 to 700 dollar deer head. But many will spend $400 and keep you busy! Also, I might add, too many hunters expect their normal priced work back super fast! Hence, the reason why we have such a strong contract and understanding.
