Can anyone lead me to a source other than Van Dykes that offers artificial elephant tusks?
Thanks for your help

We have two real sets of tusks. First set weighs in at a total of 213 lbs, 4 oz. One tusk at an even 110 lbs. the other tusk at 103 lbs and four oz.
The other set weighs in at a total 236 lbs. One tusk weighs in at 116 lbs 7 oz. The other one weighs: 119 lbs and 9 oz.
Too bad we can't sell these! They are worth a fortune!
Thats some fantastic tusks! I would love to see them.
If I knew what materials to use to make them that would be the most useful to me. I have seen some mentioned they where made of fiberglass and others made of a material that I can't remember the name of.
At one time a company made a resin with ivory powder in it but again I can't remember.
I saw in an earlier post that you were in NC. Try contacting Jim Edwards of Western Taxidermy. He can help you with elephant tusks repros. He is in NC also out near the coast. His contacts are in the new issue of Taxidermy Today.
