Unfortunately, he hasn't posted what the prize is or what the contest is about. "But one of the prizes is going to make some of you all happy". So we all need to hurry before it's too late.

it was a coon hide, hell might be a Stratos with a 150 Mer by now, stock markets up today.
I cant believe the ones on that site that harbor him as a genious for starting a forum from fantasy. They are there because they dont like it here. And because I try to use the best of materials in all I do, I wont shop over there. This is my site.

I am a loyal fan of this site and have gotten alot of good info here.
But i also belong to the other site also. Its not a bad site and if you check out some of there pictures you would see that most are very skilled taxidermist.
Enough is enough. No one is making you go to the other site so let it die.

I had one like that back in 2000, my son made for me. He spent alot of time on it, so I went with it for awhile, just for kicks. That administrator crap gets old! I think it would be better if registration was required on here, that would cut out some of the anonymous postings. Terry, I see your still at it.LOL
Most of the people there are good people, it's the dipsh@t administrator that is the problem. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just do some research on the guy and find out for yourself. I posted a thread there a few weeks ago to inform the other people on the forum, but low and behold, he deleted the message within a few minutes.
Do some research on people, and be careful of those that you are supportive of is all I'm saying here.
I believe Michael tunes things out that he does not want to hear as he has done all his life. Anyone can see by reading his bios on his sites that personality problems and life management skills do not get in the way of his business savvy. In addition, to think that he can go hunting with live ammo is a scary thought. I have said enough, that is it. I am letting it go.
Unless he comes up with another new site that I could chuckle at.
Did we forget why we are all here? Taxidermy.net is about learning and talking about TAXIDERMY not cutting people down. Seriosly, I'm tired of reading threads like these and seeing people complain about stuff that just doesn't matter. And about Micheal, well, go ahead and let him have the forum, I am a member there, it is a nice place to post because there isn't as much fighting and because you can actually post pictures there. Don't get me wrong, this is my main site for taxidermy, I just wanted a change of pace from all the bickering on here so I visit the other forum too. Well I better stop. thats my viewpoint on things.
And I understand your innocence of youth, but PLEASE don't tell me what a "nice" site it is simply because it "allows pictures". The world is filled with jerks and those who follow them tend to be grouped by the company they keep. Michael Rasmussen and a couple of his alter egos have run roughshod over this site and then they run and hide on his. If the only positive thing you can say about his site is that it allows pictures, I'd strongly suggest you register on Glen Conley's site where there's adult supervision (usually - sorry Glen, couldn't help myself there). Michael has run his scam and it's past time some of us exposed him for just what he is. Don't expect sympathy for someone who doesn't deserve any.

I don't need a site where I can post my second mount, there is a site for that already where the mounts can get a fair critique, and not a [looks better than mine reply]. In addition, I do not need a site were I can post smiley faces and emotion thingy's to make it cutesy. Nor do I need to post a picture of what I am taking to the fair. I hope the doe does well for you, did you post it on Michaels site?
George, I completely understand what your saying. I know Micheal has "run his scam". My point is, all the bickering on here that usually goes on has gotten to be tiring. But taxidermy.net will still be my favorite taxi forum, because there is a wealth of info on this site.
And whoever "smiling" is, we all enjoy a good joke. And people post jokes on here all the time.
Mr. T, Are you being sarcastic with me? In the past people have posted their accomplishments and such, is that not okay? Also, I post my mounts on the other forum for people to look at and enjoy. Not because I am expecting a fair critique.
Nina, thats it, its the picture thing, why do we have the need to see others work, or post our own? Look at me, look at me! I did my fourth deer. Thats nice. I guess as long as it is in the bigenners catagory, or if you earned a ribbon with it, thats fine. You boast about that site being able to post pictures as that is what makes it better than this site. I guess thats what you need at your age, nothing wrong with that.

I never said that Micheal's forum was better than the Taxidermy.net. You're putting words into my mouth. I said it was nice to add pics in the post. No other site will ever be better than taxidermy.net.
