Looking for new ways to finish the limbs from McKenzie. I've done the painting with flat latex paint thing, even detail with darker colors in the grooves etc. They still look to fake for my taste. Just want to get a better look...any good ideas?

Just finished one for a black bear. Made it with bondo and a latex mold from a pine tree. Then paint with natural looking paint colors. They look great. email me if you want pics.
