Mr. Rasmussen is one of the cooliest guys i know why don't you guys lay off of the kid. This is the main reason kids don't want anything to do with the outdoors or this industry. Right now he's working on a movie about one of the greatest taxidermist to walk this earth and you all know who he is most have one his award if you are a world champ at this. And one thing he posts something for a laugh and he's tacked to a cross let stuff go. he started the forum as a way to get better at what he's always wanted to do he still hasn't got over his dog death and that was months ago. so back off he doesn't post when someone gripes about you guys. he was raised if you don't have something nice to say don't say it.

Mikey has made a reputation for himself as a habitual liar. I tried to help him, and would have continued, but he went and put me in a position that I didn't want to be in. There are few things in life that I value more than my friends and when you mess with them I have a tendency to get a little p'd. What Mickey needs to do is realize that you can't go through life lying and trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes. He may be the coolest guy ever but he needs to learn a little humility, when he asked for a critique and didn't like what he heard, instead of seeing what people were talking about, he blew them off. Everyone on here is here to help, but if people would read the beginning of the forums about the rules regarding this forum, there wouldn't be so many hurt feelings. The other thing here is that for some of us, things are slow right now, just before season, and people have more free time to bicker. I've been to his site and there are things that I like, but there are also people there that don't have the knowledge to help out one another. He posted about how to finish his deer, and instead of (forgive me George) blowing roses up his butt, there were very few who said to trash it and start over. By the way Mike ( I knew it was you from the get go), you might want to check into the laws before someone actually sends you any money for some of your business'. That tip is free, the next one is only $19.95. Do yourself a favor and find someone who will help you learn taxidermy. Join your state association, hire a teacher, take classes or something it will take a lot less time. And for God's sake learn to tell the truth. As the song goes "It's better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you're not".

Read the book, read the book again, study the book, then practice the book for a few years, learn why he was the greatest taxidermist that walked the earth, practice, practice, practice, then strive to do what he did and then EARN the respect you seek.

It would have happened by now. I believe he has been this way his whole life, and it doesnt bother him. He has been teased his whole life I would think. Nobody at the age of 23 gets this way overnight.
