I took 2 hides to a taxidermist in february 2005. I was told to expect them back in august. Well it is now a year after I was told I should have them back and I am still getting the runaround. The guy says the tannery was swamped with furs to be tanned then tey started on them then I should have them by december of last year, then it was march, then may and july. I am downright ticked off about these furs and I want my tanned hides or money and hides returned. What should I do about this?

but you might try filing a small claims complaint. Might spur him to action. Good luck.
I have the same problem with a wholesaler taxidermist that I am dealing with. I tried being civil, I tried being understanding, I even tried to reason, everything you should do to be prfessional about the matter at hand. NOW it is time to get tuff and put the hammer down, and you should do the same. Ask him to show you the paper work that shows when they were shipped to the tannery.
