Greetings,
I'm new here and hopefully my comments are welcome, I'm not "officially" in the taxidermy biz and actually know very little about it. I've sent a recent message to Chris Hix requesting to do a live demo (at the next Board Meeting in Kerrville, TX) regarding a new procedure that I've developed to refine, refurbish and rejuvenate museum quality and consumer mounts "on location". The service offered, is capable of removing and eradicating almost 100% of the exterior surface elements of dust, mold, and bacteria that collects, yet protects, restores and renews the hide, hair or feathers without using any harsh or harmful chemicals and pesticides. The whole process is almost liquid free, yet removes most airborne allergens ~ and what many people describe as common pet dander.
I'm seeking the advice of experienced and knowledgeable taxidermist that can help take this formula forward in order to create regional licensing agreements and a new field of expertise.
