This is just a rant, but check this out. I am currently getting ripped off by 2 people at the same time. Technically, it is my repsonsiblity to "make sure someone is legitimate", but geez, someone has something for sale, and I send them the money. I wouldn't send anything unless someone paid for it, but I guess I just refuse to believe that people are crooks and want to harm me.
Both of these people who are ripping me off were selling reproduction sheep horns. Two different states, but both cashed my money order and will not reply to my communications for over a month. I know someone will tell me to call the cops or whatever, but that rarely works and why should someone across the country care about me getting ripped off?
The one that bothers me the most is in New Market, Ohio. He does not sell on here as far as I know, but I would be willing to pay someone to just stop by his house and find out if he is going through a hard time or what? I hate being jaded.

CD. I know how frustrating it cam be. I once bought a few thousand dollars of stuff from a fellow in Washington State. every time I called I got his wife. with a big sob story. Then they filed bankruptcy. which they thought saved them well it did kind of. because the bankruptcy court sent me a letter telling me I could not contact them in regard to the debt. The next time I went to Idaho, I took a trip over to their town in Washington. since I had never extended credit, It really was not a case for the bankruptcy court. I filed charges, and got my money by way of restitution. as part of his sentence.
