Does anyone use their stuff? what products do you use for what application? Looks like I just came into five hundred bucks worth and have not used any of it before. I hope this gift certificate is a little more usefull than the one I won from a certain tannery that I almost burned down for destroying about 90,000 dollars worth of my skins!

you should contact your lawer and tell your tannery to keep the gift certificate. I have used the water based hide adhesive, but it wasn't long before I went back to Buckeye Supreme. Sorry Buckeye, it will never happen again!
Epo-Grip makes both conventional and epoxy hide paste. The epoxy hide paste was the first to be used and was the successor to the market after Ron Carter stopped making Loc Tite. They make Bloodout/Degreaser which is the strongest industrial soap used in taxidermy and which does just what it says it does. They make Liquid Fast Set, the premier product for installing plastic earliners. They make Seam and Seal Repair which is an epoxy putty for just what it says. Unlike all the other epoxies, this one will take a stain when sanded lightly. The make Ear Magic which has to be their greatest invention for those who use the "Bondo method". Unlike Bondo, Ear Magic won't disbond. They make Ultra-Clear which is a crystal clear epoxy that's used to cover fish. The make Fin Magic which has proven exceptional at reproducing flexible and translucent reproduction fins. The make #30 Liquid or paste which takes up to 6 hours to dry and will hold the world from rotating if used correctly. (Extremely strong epoxy). They make Clear Paste which catalyzes in from 5 to 7 minutes and is a must for putting foam forms back together again. And they sell a 90 second epoxy which will not crystalize like superglue will.
Steve and Erik make a multitude of products that have been field tested by taxidermists. It's a long story and it's in the archives if you have a couple weeks. Instead, call Steve at 800-888-2467 and he'll gladly answer all your questions.
I think you should send the gift certificate to me, you don't want any of that stuff,,,,,,,,, you wont like it.
I like the Liquid fast set for ear liners, and fixing repairs. If you use any epoxy for gluing, and it cost you nothing but to order it, you cant go wrong.
I have heard of good results with the blood out/degreaser and the repair putty for antler repair.
If it were free , i'd use it!
It is used offten with great consistancey and results in both the shop and during classes. I would give a high recomendation to the fin majic and also to the qwickset repair putty, I have just started to use the degreaser it seems to work well too.
I hope this helped.
My Best!
