You have to pass a literacy test and the way he writes and spells, I don't think Indiana is that hard up. Course, they do have Cecil, don't they?

I think #9 will get him if he gets by the first eight

I actually was well on my way to being one once. I got through most of the screening process but when they told me where I'd probably be I told them I changed my mind. They told me I'd be patrolling the Ohio river! Yuck! All the major rivers in this state are chocolate color most of the time and filty.

To be a C.O. you don't just go to school in Indiana and apply. In fact, I have a cousin that has a law enforcement degree that was screened out for no apparent reason. The way it works here is every few years they have postions to fill and applicants come in and take a written test. From there they go on to more screening until they have the few left they want for their version of basic training.

They're also looking for personalities that follow orders no questions asked even if what they are told to do is idiotic. I would have had problems there.

I think with out present governor there won't be any openings. He doesn't believe they are worth their pay. I disagree but our govenor Mitch is an oddball to say the least. That's what happens when you vote straight ticket in a red state.
