Save the teeth..

...to put in the mouth. You can hide most of the details of the inner mouth by placing an acorn, or some leaves (like it was carrying them up to make a nest, though the nut looks better). Just use reference (live or pics) to see how the squirrel holds the nut. He doesn't bite his teeth into it!
Good luck with it~!

I like to go out to the woods and look for nuts that have teeth marks on them to put in the openings of my squirrel mounts
Good Luck!

Covert to closed mouth

Brandon, you can easily convert your form to a closed mouth by first cutting off the lower mouth off the form. When you mount the squirrel, just use Epoxy-sculpt to shape the lower jaw closed. The skin will tuck real easy and you will get a real soft look to the lip/mouth area

I am Just a beginner and ...

I don't know how to do it. This squirrel is a "special" Mount and I don't want to mess it up so I may try Just A Open Mouth.

Squirrels bury acorns to save them. He could certainly carry one down the tree to bury it.

Thanks

I meant to say that's how he was when I shot him.
It was the first squirrel I ever killed and I've had him in the freezer.

i saw a squirrel mount w/ the shotgun shell he was shot w/ in his mouth as he was going down the tree and it looked really cool, i dont know how serious you want to be, but i thought i might mention it. when are squirrels mouths ever open comming down tree's? just kinda thought of that good luck, i shot a squirrel today and it at the taxidermist right now and i'm considering different mounts, i'm gonna get him put on the log he was on when i shot him, which actually has holes in it from my shot gun, kinda cool adds to it.
