Wondering if anyone can tell me the correct eye color and size for a fisher. My reference is not close enough to determine. They appear very dark but this will be a competition piece and I don't know if a bubble eye will be okay or if I should use an eye with an iris and pupil. Also is the pupil round, oval, horizontal or vertical.
Thanks,

marc ,
i mount a few fisher every year , and have always used dark, hollow bubble . last year i competed with one ; got a blue with a bubble eye . reference is hard to distinguish , but i believe they're dark brown with round pupils . i've never gotten one in fresh enough to confirm this though . ron
marc ,
i would guess a 12 mm . i have seen them on occasion and they don't seem to see very well , so don't go too big . ron
I appreciate the help.
