John, ive not been doing taxidermy for very long, just about 2-3 years. but, i have mounted quite a few squirrels. I study the books and look at the questions and answers on here, and i have found out that you seem to be the head "squirrel man" if you will. i do know that you know alot about the anatomy of squirrels.
now, ive seen this question asked several times, and everybody agreea on the same thing. everyone agrees that the hollow bubble eye is the best thing to use on small mammals up to the size of a coon.
my question is, from your point of view, what IS the best eye to use on a squirrel? I usually use Van Dyke bird eyes, but they just never seem to satisfy me. please help if you can. thx, chad

The eyes your looking for are made by Tohickon. The eyes have an oval pupil that matches that of a squirrel. These are the ones he recommends.
