I am in need of some advice from my industry.
Alaska law says that you can not sell a "Prepared Big Game Trophy"but it is legal to buy and sell horns, antlers, capes and skins.
When is a mount "prepared"?
Thank you,
Shawn

If we interpet the laws we could be wrong ask your state game and fish they have already decided the what, when and where of it.
So since there is nothing in the regs I ask you all to give me your advice as to what is a prepared big game trophy.
thank you
What do they call a trophy?
So when is it considered prepared?
From what I have been told, in Alaska if you shoot a trophy animal and have it mounted, it is considered prepared. In otherwords, you cannot resell a mount once it is complete of a native big-game animal
