Hey guys, I have a customer who wants to have 2 mink mounted fighting. Is this something were I would have to build my own manikins? Also what is the best way to tan a mink? sould I send it to the same tannery I use for deer & larger mammels such as fox,coyote & coon or is cream tan ( or such) good for that, & must I pickle them? To make the teeth show must I keep the heads or is there jaw sets you can buy?

After reading your post not sure if your learning or not sure what to do here? If your sending cape to the tannery then you proballu not learning are you? But anyway ok I'm a smarta$$ at times no name so I can be.
Buy the mink forms and you will have to alter them. Make the nessacary cuts nad reattch them with epo-grip. As for the teeth you can use the real (in time might decetercrate, cast them, or make tehm from all-game etc).
As for tanning use your judgement. I tan all my hides except for bear, to greasy for me LOL.
If you plan on tanning them, then salt like you would for a deer and follow the same instructions pickle,shave a little etc. Or if you get lazy use DP!
