SLEEPING BOBCAT

Submitted by TONY GRAY on 1/25/02. ( TLGRAY003@AOL.COM ) 64.12.96.102

Have a customer who insist that he have his bobcat mounted in a sleeping position. Customer said mount will be placed on floor near an unused fireplace as a decoration piece.
I have searched all catalogs that I can find and have found nothing in a sleeping pose other than a tree version.

First, does anyone have any photo's of a sleeping bobcat(other than the ones in the current issue of"Breakthrough") and also any idea's on modifying a form?

Please e-mail any photo's that would be helpful.

Thanks

If you can find a carcass place it in sleeping position and recut nearest form to "conform". A good live model would be your own or a neighbours house cat. I freeze my cat carcasses in desired possition as reference. If you have no carcass, try a trapper, you might just get a carcass for the price of shipping or fetching it. good luck
