too little skin for open mouth coyote

Submitted by Jason on 1/29/02. ( ) 216.175.71.32

I am attempting my first open mouth mount (coyote). I am afraid I will have too little lip skin to properly seat the inner lips against the jawset (especially the front jaw area). Can I use something to fill between where my inner lips stop and the jawset starts...also can it be painted?

Any of the clay type epoxies will do just that.

Use one of the 2-part sculpting epoxies, such as Sculpall, All-Game, etc. Check out any of the supply companies and you will find it. I would check out WASCO first, being as they are so kind as to host this forum, and they are a top-notch, ethical supply company.

Dremal a grove.

Dremal a small grove around tip of lip to tuck lip skin into. The skin will be held in place very tightly. after it drys, fill in the space between jaw set and lip edge and paint.
