Does anybody out there know what size eye to order for a large white-footed mouse?

How big is "large" and how little is "small". Don't you have calipers or some kind of ruler. Measure the diameter and go to the catalog (most have eye sizing charts) and order the correct eye. Take a small maglite and shine it into the eye. You'll be able to tell what color it was when alive OR you can go by the suppliers eye chart listing.
Due to the method of capture (mouse trap), the skull is pulverized along with the eyes.
Then I'd GUESS 4mm HB eyes
I use 4mm eyes for brown rats, and 3mm eyes for field mice. Since you say it's a "large" mouse, I'd say 4mm would be the best bet.
