I'm only 17 but I am thinking of a career in taxidermy. I would like to know if there is much call for taxidermy in Central Iowa. Would I be able to make ends meet come time to pay bills?
Do you have to go to college or just a 7 week workshop?
Thanx

Hank: Go to college and get a good education, do taxidermy part time or
as a hobby. You will find out soon enough if your area can support another
taxidermist. But don't do it with the idea of being able to make ends
meet, Get a college education and get a good job that will not only
make ends meet but let you enjoy taxidermy as well. If you settle for
just making ends meet, Then you will be hurting yourself in what ever
profession you decide on.
Good luck to you.
Bob.
