I plan on making a coyote rug and need to know how to measure the skull. i am new to taxidermy but have some experience. the skull is totally clean.

Chris, if your talking about measureing for the rug that needs to be done before the animal is even skinned. You need a measurement from the front corner of the eye to the end of the nose to order the form. If your refering to measureing the skull for scoreing purposes then that is done with the lower jaw removed, then take the total length and add it to the total width and you have the skull measurement.
