I tanned a large black bear for rug. It turned out very hard and the hair is laying flat.
I already have the head mounted. What can I do to get the hair to stand up and be fluffy. This is my first attempt to do a rug.

Depending on if it is a fall or spring bear. A spring bear has a tendacy to have longer hair plus underlying fleece like hair it will look fuller. A fall bear will have lost the underlying fleece like hair try back brushing and blowing with a blow dryer. the fall bear will be flatter regardless what you do. Hope this helps.
