I don't know why I get myself into this stuff. I do deer, not otters. But someone stopped by and caught me at a weak moment and wanted me to mount an otter. Do you need to turn the ears on an otter, or will they dry OK as is?

... on all mammals, unless you plan on using injectable preservative. otters aren't too hard to turn, just have a sharp scalpel blade handy. Don't worry about pulling cartilage after tanning, simply use bondo method or apoxy clay for ear liner material.
