I have purchased a commercial tanned life size Bear skin, I want to do a full mount what is the best way to rehydrate this skin to get the elasticity needed to do a full mount? Thanks

Each tannery has their own way, I would do the generally accepted way that post here.

John,
Either Sponge wet it with warm water, salt and a bactericide.
OR, submerge into a tub/container with the same ingrediants for 1/2 hour, dain for 30 minutes, fold skin to skin and then roll up and put it into the fridge over night to sweat out. By morning it'll be totally reHydratedand ready for mounting.
For a Bear, I would lean twards the Sponge procedure.

Have a good day,
Dave
