hidepaste in hair

Could somebody tell me if its possible how to remove dried buckeye supreme hide paste from the hair of a fox or anything else for that matter. it seems like no matter what I always find some in the hair somewhere, I usually just pull it off but sometimes that breaks the hair and was wondering if there was something out there that would make it soften up and come off eisier. thanks in advance Rick

Rick, I use Buckeye supreme and I always go over the mount as soon as it is mounted. If I see any BS (hum never abbreviated it before) on it I hit it with a mist of water and work it right our. Try this in the future. After it is dried I would try acetone (use precautionary protection) - haven't tried it before but if anything will remove it I would bet it to be acetone.
Note I use epoxy on the facial area and that is a bigger pain to remove if any should get on the hair.
