how do you obtain the nice satin sheen on a fox's nose. my noses always apperars to be too shinny. thanks a lot, joe

Add talc to your clear gloss spray until it had the desired effect. Don't use so much that it turns flat.
Van Dykes sells it.I just brush it on thin over the nose to give it that slight wet look like k9's nose has.I also use it heavier to fill in at the corners of the eyes and along the lower lid,as well as the lower lip on the closed mouth or the full inner mouth on an open mouth.I use it thin here like on the nose.
I only use artifcial noses on fox because I cant fleshout the real nose without tearing it to pieces.LOL.Then use only one coat of Modgepodge,no more.Works for me.
