help with grey fox

I need a little help with a grey fox its my frist full mount my problem is my measurements dont fit the form I would like to use. the measurements on the fox is 2 1/2 x 13 x 23 and the form is 2 1/4 x12 1/2 x23 3/4 will this work or do I need to alter the form some how thanks harv.

You probally can get away with it being only a 3/4". Even still I"ld alter it anyway. You can cut the belly and remove what is needed there and then epoxy the forms back together.

As for the head leave that alone. A 1/4 in is nothing and you will have excess skin but as you taxi the hide around the fox will look much better.

franks right , but for future ref. always order a canine or feline form a little smaller than the actual measurements , if i have a 24 inch fox i order a 23inch, you are going to have to alter the form anywat to have good expression in the face , and loose skin in the facial area is critical for realistic expression. hope this helps
