CORRECT COLOR OF A RACOONS FOOT (BOTTOM)

first racoon turned out pretty good now time to do the finish work
on the bottom of the pads of the feet are they painted strait black
or kind of a grayish-black or what any advice would be appreciated

Raccoon

Paint them white first then mist them with Payne's Gray until you have complete coverage, mist them with black until the bluish tint gives it an honest DARK Gray appearance. That's what I do for my commercial ones when I have the feet bottoms visible.


Brown or black/gray

We trap raccoons in the winter and not all have the blackish/grayish pads. There are a few with more brownish pads. So I guess it is all up to you which color you prefer.
