Albino Raccoon

Submitted by Hoop on 3/14/02. ( WJTAXIDERM@aol.com ) 152.163.188.230

I just finished mounting an albino raccoon that I found on my front steps awhile back. I need some suggestions on colors or mixing colors to paint the nose, eyes and pads on the feet.

Thanks, Hoop

Keep your paint thin

Mix red and white, and add plenty of thinner, paint a layer, then put down a thinned layer of topcoat, alternate between the two and build up several thin layers. Do not over do it so that the fleshy areas look painted.

i was just wondering if you found the raccoon dead, or did you find it so rare that you had to kill it and mount it for your own satisfaction?
thanx

Dead

I found it dead on my front steps. If I thought it so rare as to kill it for my own satisfaction, that would be my business!
