How many coyote pelts would it take to be a good trade for a cougar hide for a lifesize. 10 coyotes or more/less. Thanks for your help

I was just wondering what a good trade would be for a coyote/cougar trade. What does a good size cougar cost? and what is the average cost of a average coyote? Other wise I'm just curious. Thanx

Do you mean taxidermy usable coyotes for a taxidermy usable mt lion? Also frozen or salted or tanned?A really nice mt lion for mounting would go 400-500 salted, even more for a real big tom.A really nice lifesize salted coyote goes for 50.00-60.00 from what I have seen, really pale whitish ones for more,red/blond for more and of course black coyotes get a premium.Air dried fur trade coyotes go for 10-25 depending on area, some a bit more(like good heavy pale Montanas).A nice Mt lion not usable for taxidermy, salted, maybe 150- 200.00?

Just to give you an idea,I am no expert on these prices, but have seen alot listed.
